I am interested in the dichotomy between the transient and the permanent, and in tracking the passage and experience of time and place through process and subject matter. My approach is very process driven, using analogue and digital technologies to create a unique mood and energy in my work. Born in Sheffield, UK I currently live in London, UK. I hold a BA (Hons) Fine Art (Combined and Media Arts) from Sheffield Hallam University, and an HNC in Photography from City of Westminster College. I won the Islington Exhibits Artists Award in 2013 and my work has since been recognised internationally, including the iPhone Photography Awards, Mobile Photography Awards, Life Framer Awards, International Photography Awards (One Shot), and the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers. Selected works are represented for publication by Millennium Images (London) and Getty istock. 2016 group exhibitions include the Life Framer Awards, ShutterHub Open and Bright exhibitions, Obsolete and Discontinued at Revela T and Cologne, the Berlin Foto Biennale of Fine Art and Documentary Photography, and The Curated Fridge.
